[MM]: Nobody is coming to save you…

I sent the below message to my Fit Body Franchise Partners as their CEO and supporter of small businesses in America to address the global event from last week.

I aimed to provide some of my perspective on the road ahead with a business lesson at the foundation.

Given my role, I owed it to them and trust you will receive value too.

It’s no secret that last week, the United States of America elected Donald Trump to be its 47th Head Policy Maker. 

While I don’t have a crystal ball.

Being your CEO and a Franchisor who’s invested in your business and life success, I want to share with you what I see.

I look to ignore the subjectivity of the Legacy media narrative and the personalities of the candidates. 

Instead, I focus on past data to predict future performance.

With this in mind, his track record, suggests the next 4 years will consist of:

• Lower inflation 
• Lower tax rates
• Fewer regulations
• Lower interest rates
• Lower energy costs
• Increased GDP
• Increased levels of free speech/feedback culture
• Higher security
• Less global conflict

While nothing is guaranteed.

If this happens, these action items will create tailwinds for your business just as the data suggests from his first term.

So yes, I am optimistic that the next 4 years will bring a much better business climate for the US, much of the world, and most importantly you.

However, my message today is not of sunshine and rainbows.

Instead, it’s to deliver the cold hard truth that no one is coming to save you.

No, not Donald Trump, nor would Kamala Harris have saved you.

Neither of them are going to:

• Come get you out of bed to hold you accountable to your daily workouts
• Teach you how to lead, market, and sell
• Focus on your client retention
• Train up your team
• Grow your business
• Pick up your kids from school to ensure they are taken care of
• Come over for Thanksgiving Dinner to give you a hug or pep talk when you are down 

The reality is that any tailwinds won’t guarantee your success.

Nor will headwinds cement your failure.

While I do believe the business climate will get better which will increase the probability of your prosperity.

The truth is that nobody is coming to save you.

You must save yourself.

And the time isn’t yesterday, tomorrow, next month, or next year.

The time is now.
