I wanted to share with you a story to inspire you as I was inspired.✨
Coach Tatiana’s mom, Cristina, is in New York City through next week.
Why?🤔
Cristina enrolled in a 2 week exchange program to study English.
Yes, that’s right..💯
At 67 years young she is studying abroad in the big apple and living her passion.🍎
You see..
Cristina had a dream to learn English ever since she was a little girl.
She grew up in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in the 60’s.🇧🇷
And at age 15, she had the opportunity to study abroad in San Diego to learn English.
Although sadly, Cristina’s mom talked her out of it.
She was scared for her daughter so shined a light on all the dangerous things that could have happened.
**She was young. San Diego was far. She didn’t speak the language or know anyone in California, she could get injured or worse, etc…
While her mom had good intentions, unfortunately, this stinted her growth and created a life long regret.
This is also why she was adamant that Tatiana and her siblings learn English which they all speak natively.
Well, decades have passed but Cristina’s dream stayed constant.💥
And even though later than planned..
She mustered up enough courage to enroll in this program, took the trip from Brazil alone and is making progress toward this goal.
The morale of the story?
It’s never too late to pursue your dreams!⚡️
So my message today is to take action.
Get fit.
Earn your confidence.
Make big moves.
Follow your heart & dreams.
After all, we only have 1 shot at this thing called life.
You must make it count!
