Happy Monday Mindset!
To finish off the quote from the headline..
It’s not the size of the dog in the fight.
It’s the size of the fight in the dog!
Why do I share this today?
I just connected with an old friend which reminded me of this motto I took on in my youth.You see, I was a whopping 5’1 my freshman year.
I didn’t grow much further until my senior year.
Entering high school, I was the smallest guy in my class of 200+.
It wasn’t fun.
I was insecure.
I had to work 3x as hard in athletics just to keep up.
I hated it.
However, it ended up becoming my super power.
Why?
It taught me work ethic.
It taught me the need to hustle.
It taught me grit.
It taught me I need to do what others are unwilling to do to become successful.
This has carried with me until this day.
And this is my message for you today.
No matter what “disadvantage” you think you have.
If you re-frame it, it can be a blessing.
After all..
Adversity is your advantage.
So remember:
It’s not the size of the dog in the fight.
It’s the size of the fight in the dog!
