Happy Monday Mindset!
Yesterday, the entire world was watching.
Ninety minutes came and went with nothing settled.
So Spain and Argentina kept fighting deep into extra time, until Spain scored a thrilling goal by Ferran Torres with 10 minutes left in overtime.
However, my friend Alwyn Cosgrove said something that stuck with me:
Nobody won the World Cup yesterday.
It was won years ago.
In empty training grounds.
In recovery sessions nobody filmed.
In the thousands of ordinary days that made one extraordinary day possible.
Spain did not get there by being perfect.
They got there by showing up.
Again. And again. And again.
Here is the part that applies to you.
The results you want are not decided the moment they arrive.
They are decided now, in the reps nobody sees, in the ordinary Tuesdays you would rather skip.
That is how you create transformation.
Not in the spotlight.
In the grind before it.
My message today?
Don’t wait for the big stage to perform, because the truth is that it will likely never come.
Instead, this week, win an ordinary day.
Then do it again.
