[MM]: Art and Leadership
Happy Monday!
A few weeks ago my mother in law Cristina visited my wife Tatiana & I from Brazil.
While she was here..
I had a work trip to Vegas for 1 night.
So Cristina and Tatiana decided to come with me.
We arrived in Vegas on Wednesday morning.
I had some meetings I jumped into straight away.
While I did that, the ladies went to the strip to see some of the sites.
Then evening arrived..
We went to see the circus o lei show “O” in the Bellagio.
Now I am not a big movie guy or show goer.
But I can respect art when I see it.
And holy moley, the show was a masterpiece!
The skill, expertise and craft of the performers was world class.
And while everyone was amazed at the visible art front and center..
I couldn’t help but to see the invisible leadership needed to bring the show to life.
The planning, the vision creation, the practice, the communication and feedback culture needed to execute a performance like this is no easy feat.
Lots of blood, sweat, tears and leadership.
Both art and leadership is at its finest!
As I close out today’s message..
I want to leave you with this thought speaking of leadership.
I love fitness because it’s the first form of leadership.
When you can lead yourself to a healthier version of you.
Only then can you be there for your spouse, kids, family and community.
But remember: it starts with you.
Have a great Monday!
