[MM]: The gift of freedom!

Family! 🙌

Freedom is my personal core value.

It shapes the way I think, what I value and the actions I take.✨

This is important for you to know as the CEO of Fit Body.

This is also why I became enraged last year when the massive issue of Human Trafficking was brought to light on the world’s stage.

As it turns out..

The trafficking of human beings (YES HUMANS) is a multi-billion dollar (WITH A “B”) criminal industry that denies freedom to 25 million people around the world.

This is both horrific & unacceptable.

In response, I casted a vision and challenged my HQ team to help you and our brand do something about it.đź’Ą

Well, on the backs of my Fit Body HQ team, they have taken massive action to bring this vision to life.👊

Looking ahead, we will be executing “Freedom Week” as our April client engagement program.

At its operational core..

It is a mega referral campaign designed to drive leads to our locations so our Franchise Partners can grow your profitability.

The best part?🤔

We do it by taking a stand against a horrible-horrible crime that deprives people of their freedom.

I’m proud of you and proud to be part of an organization that creates both impact and income.🥰

Have a great Monday!

Leadership Lesson: Rule 7. Enthusiasm Attracts More Passengers and Energises Them During the Ride 150 150 Bryce Henson

Leadership Lesson: Rule 7. Enthusiasm Attracts More Passengers and Energises Them During the Ride

As the rule indicates..

Enthusiasm is powerful tool in leadership.

Why?

When you break enthusiasm down..

Enthusiasm creates EMOTION.

And EMOTION moves people.

Humbling myself as I reflect..

Much of my success as a leader.

Isn’t because of the smartest.

It’s not because I have magical leadership powers.

Thats far from the truth.

It’s due to my enthusiasm towards people, our team and our mission.

I believe it in whole heartily as its my passion!

This my friend is why it’s so important to follow your passion in life.

More than just a “woo-woo” tag line.

Passion creates enthusiasm in you and others.

And we learned from rule #7.

Enthusiasm attracts more passengers and energises them during the ride on your leadership bus.

Happy Monday Mindset!

This past Saturday was a special one!

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary of serving our mission of Inspiring Fitness and Changing Lives at my Mission Viejo Fit Body location.

One 1 hand feels like an eternity ago.

On the other hand, just like yesterday.

We opened the doors on a cold dark morning in early 2014 without experience or know-how. 🤷

Just a passion to share the gift of fitness which changed my wife Tatiana’s and my life. 🔥

Looking back at the decade.

Lots of sweaty sessions full of burpees and friendships made. đź’Ş

Big highs.

Very low lows.

I suppose that’s a good analogy of fitness, business and life.

Thank you to YOU and our clients. 🙏❤️

Thank you for investing in your fitness.

Thank you for trusting us as your coaches.

YOU are the reason this is possible.

Lastly, thank you to my team..

Both past and present. ❤️

Many businesses don’t make 1 year, let alone 10.

This accomplishment is made on your backs.

You are the true heroes of the organization!

Tatiana and I will never lose sight of that.

In closing, whether you have been with us for 10 years or 10 days.

Thank you. ❤️

This business and milestone is for you and because of YOU!

What an incredible 10 years. 🥳

In many ways though, we are just getting started!🚀

Much Love!

Have a great Monday!

Leadership Lesson: Rule 6. Post a Sign that Says’ No Energy Vampires Allowed’ on Your Bus 150 150 Bryce Henson

Leadership Lesson: Rule 6. Post a Sign that Says’ No Energy Vampires Allowed’ on Your Bus

“Negative people create negative corporate cultures, while positive people do the opposite.” Jon Gordon.

Real talk:

Energy Vampires will crush you, your mindset and organization.

Don’t believe me?

Consider how you speak English..

What accent do you have when you speak?

I sound American.

Not because I wanted to sound American when I was younger.

In fact, there was nothing intentional about this.

It’s due to the fact I grew up in the USA.

My environment shaped the way I learned to speak our language.

My wife Tatiana is the opposite.

She speaks beautiful English, but speaks with a different cadence.

It’s noticeable that she sounds different.

You see, she sings English like she sings Brazilian Portuguese.

The environment in her youth, shaped her ability to learn our language.

The morale of this story?

Your environment shapes and influences you.

So don’t fool yourself by thinking you can allow a negative influence in your environment without having consequences.

Since leadership is about influence.

You can ONLY let positive people influence you and hop on your energy bus.

Therefore, no energy vampires.

Bottom line.

The truth?

Strong leaders embrace this rule.

Weak leaders negotiate on why their long standing relationships with these vampires should still be allowed.

That used to be me until I made a choice to be a better leader.

Your choice.

Onward!

[MM]: Art and Leadership 150 150 Bryce Henson

[MM]: Art and Leadership

Happy Monday!

A few weeks ago my mother in law Cristina visited my wife Tatiana & I from Brazil.

While she was here..

I had a work trip to Vegas for 1 night.

So Cristina and Tatiana decided to come with me.

We arrived in Vegas on Wednesday morning.

I had some meetings I jumped into straight away.

While I did that, the ladies went to the strip to see some of the sites.

Then evening arrived..

We went to see the circus o lei show “O” in the Bellagio.

Now I am not a big movie guy or show goer.

But I can respect art when I see it.

And holy moley, the show was a masterpiece!

The skill, expertise and craft of the performers was world class.

And while everyone was amazed at the visible art front and center..

I couldn’t help but to see the invisible leadership needed to bring the show to life.

The planning, the vision creation, the practice, the communication and feedback culture needed to execute a performance like this is no easy feat.

Lots of blood, sweat, tears and leadership.

Both art and leadership is at its finest!

As I close out today’s message..

I want to leave you with this thought speaking of leadership.

I love fitness because it’s the first form of leadership.

When you can lead yourself to a healthier version of you.

Only then can you be there for your spouse, kids, family and community.

But remember: it starts with you.

Have a great Monday!

Leadership Lesson: Rule 5. Don’t Waste Your Energy on Those Who Do Not Get on Your Bus. 150 150 Bryce Henson

Leadership Lesson: Rule 5. Don’t Waste Your Energy on Those Who Do Not Get on Your Bus.

Your job as a leader is to be the CRO (Chief Reminding Officer) of your mission, vision and values.

This is why having clarity to what your organization stands for is critical and the foundation.

This foundation will attract the right people and repel the wrong people.

That’s a good thing.

You see, Leadership is about taking a stand for good. It’s about taking a stand for what you believe in as an organization.

And then welcoming everyone who resonates.

And wishing everything who doesn’t the best on their different path.

The truth is everyone will not resonate with your message, and that’s ok!

Be prepared for so you reserve your energy and focus for those who want and need it from you.

[MM]: Perspective (Steve’s car accident) 150 150 Bryce Henson

[MM]: Perspective (Steve’s car accident)

Happy Monday!🙌

This past week was inspiring as I spent 2 days in Sacramento on FOX news.🌟

I was asked to feature Fit Body Freedom Week.

What is Freedom Week?🤔

It’s a new Fit Body campaign that launches on Monday April 8 to help combat human trafficking which enslaves 25 million people world wide.

Stay tuned for more information in the next 3 weeks as we do some good together!🔥

That aside..

I got a workout in Rancho Cordova Fit Body with my friends James, Liz and their awesome team!

Coach James was on the mic, and helped me modify the workout.

Why?

Well, I tore a piece of my hamstring a week ago at a Fit Body team bonding event.

It’s back and blue.

I have about 4-6 weeks to recover before I can work out without modification.

Now just as I was feeling sorry for myself for my temporary limitation..

I ended up meeting a new friend and Fit Body member named Steve, who got paired in my station.

You see Steve has 1 leg.

The other was amputated a handful of years ago.

Steve is in his 50’s now.

But when he was 17 growing up in Scotland..

He got hit by a drunk driver.

The complications of the accident persistent for years.

He experienced terrible pain and his only wish was to be able to live a normal life.

Eventually he had to have it amputated to save his life.

Yet, there he was..

CRUSHING his work out with a smile!đź’Ą

No excuses.

No whining.

Just giving 100% effort.đź’Ş

Talk about a piece of humble pie to open up some perspective.

It inspired me and I hope that it does for you.

My message today is to..

Work hard.

Be productive and useful.

Know that things happen.

Sometimes bad.

However, you always have a choice to respond and not react to the situation!

This is what I learned from Steve and hope you do too.

Have a great Monday!👊

Leadership Lesson: Rule 4. Invite People on Your Bus and Share Your Vision for the Road Ahead 150 150 Bryce Henson

Leadership Lesson: Rule 4. Invite People on Your Bus and Share Your Vision for the Road Ahead

Here are some favorite sayings..

  • “Like attracts like.”
  • “Winners hang with winners.”
  • “You are the average of your 5 closest friends”.

They are widely used sayings because they are true.

In fact, this universal principle grounded in physics and was popularized with the framing of the Law of Attraction.

Specific to business, growth and leadership..

It’s also why its mission is critical for any organization to establish a mission, vision, and values.

Without this foundation..

It will be impossible to attract the right people to your company.

So todays message is to ensure to establish your target and the core principles in which you stand for.

Only then can you attract the right people to join your bus interested in helping you build your vision which is the objective in Leadership rule #4.

Happy Monday!🙌

The last few weeks have been a sprint chasing our mission here at Fit Body to Inspire Fitness and Change Lives Every Day!👊

From meetings in Miami, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and up to Norcal on Wednesday to film on FOX 40 Sacramento..

I have been busy!

And with all the hustle and bustle, I’ve been overwhelmed.

But in the height of the chaos..

I then decided to take a step back and take it all in.

Do you know who came to mind?🤔

YOU!

You see, without you..

None of this matters.

YOU are the true hero in my journey!🌟

THANK YOU for reading this Monday Mindset email content.

THANK YOU for wanting to be a little better every day.

THANK YOU for investing in your health and fitness.

THANK YOU for your dedication to personal growth.

THANK YOU for trusting my team and I as your fitness coaches.

THANK YOU for wanting to make a positive impact in the world.

YOU are the reason my team and I are on a mission!

My promise to you is that I will never forget that.

So to kick off your week..

I wanted to show YOU my love and gratitude.🥰

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!🙏

My only ask in return?

That you reach out to 1 person who has been there for you, and share your gratitude with them.

This will warm both of your days which is my hope for this message!

Love and respect.

Leadership Lesson: Rule 3. Fuel Your Ride with Positive Energy 150 150 Bryce Henson

Leadership Lesson: Rule 3. Fuel Your Ride with Positive Energy

As a leader you need to cultivate positive energy in your organization.

Yes, YOU are the catalysis!

Bottom line.

This is mission critical to your leadership and team’s success.

Why?

Positive energy propels your bus (aka company) forward.

While vision and focus steer it along the right path..

Negative energy generates inefficiency and positive energy acts as a potent fuel.

Success requires embracing optimism in your daily life.

Since negativity infiltrates any void..

Maintaining a positive mindset, emotions, and actions is crucial to prevent it’s intrusion.

Your team remains dedicated and focused when fueled by positive energy, but it starts with cultivating that energy within yourself.

But remember..

YOU have to be the spark to Fuel Your Ride with Positive Energy!
